CHARLES P. WOLFF
Charles Wolff was born in Boston, Massachusetts,
September 3, 1952. He received his B.A. (cum laude) from Wesleyan University in 1974. He obtained
his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School in
1977 (cum laude).
After initially practicing in the areas of
complex antitrust and securities litigation, Mr. Wolff joined Evans,
Latham & Campisi in 1985 and became a shareholder in 1987.
He specializes in probate and trust
litigation, with ongoing trial experience in the areas of business and
contract disputes as well.
Mr. Wolff is a member of the Bar
Association of San Francisco, the State Bar of California, and the
American Bar Association. He is an advisor to the Executive Committee of
the Trusts and Estates Section of the State Bar of California and chair
of the Section’s Ethics Committee. He is a member of the San
Francisco Probate Court’s Pro Bono Mediation Panel. He has spoken
on topics of interest to trust and estate attorneys at annual meetings of
the State Bar of California and other educational programs sponsored by
the Trusts and Estates Section, the Practising Law Institute, the
Northern California Planned Giving Council, and the probate and trust
sections of various Bay Area county bar associations. He has also been a
panelist for programs sponsored by Continuing Education of the Bar and
the Northern California Trust Companies Association involving trust and
estate dispute resolution and litigation.
Charlie lives in Lafayette, California
with his wife and three sons. In his spare time he plays tennis rather poorly,
duplicate bridge rather sporadically, and manages a fantasy league
baseball team rather well.
