MATTHEW P. MATIASEVICH
Matthew Matiasevich was born in Santa Cruz, California,
March 19, 1967. He traveled with his family throughout Europe and Asia
before receiving his Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University
in 1989. In 1993 he obtained his J.D. from the University
of California at Davis, where he
participated in Moot Court and was a finalist in the inaugural Frances M.
Carr Trial Tournament.
Mr. Matiasevich was associated with
Fitzgerald Abbott & Beardsley from 1993 through 1996, where he worked
on a wide variety of civil litigation matters both at the trial and
appellate level. He joined Evans, Latham & Campisi in 1997, became a
partner in 2003, and specializes in the area of trust and estate
litigation. Mr. Matiasevich is a
member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, the State Bar of
California, the American Bar Association and a member of the ABA section on Real
Property, Probate, and Trust Law.
He is currently the chairman of the Ethics and Malpractice
Committee, for the Probate and Trust Law Section of the ABA, having previously served as the
vice-chairman of the committee.
