NANCY M. LEVIN
Nancy Levin was born in Los Angeles, California,
May 27, 1947. She attended Beverly Hills
High School and obtained her
B.A. in 1969 from the University
of California at Berkeley. She
received her J.D. from Hastings
College of the Law
in 1973.
Before and while attending law school, Ms.
Levin was a legal assistant with the firm of Somers and Lenard where she
did legal research and writing on administrative law cases. After
successfully taking the California bar exam
during the summer of 1973, Ms. Levin went to Mexico to study Spanish. She
then practiced with the Solano County Legal Assistance program from
1974–1981, serving as Directing Attorney from 1976 to 1981, during
which time she participated in state and national committees concerning
the administration of nonprofit corporations. She left the program in
1981 to live in London,
England.
After returning to the Bay Area, she handled class action litigation for
Solano County Legal Assistance and managed the program from
1987–1988.
Ms. Levin joined Evans, Latham &
Campisi in 1989 and became a shareholder in 1999. She specializes in
civil litigation in probate, trust and real estate matters in federal and
state courts.
She is a member of the State Bar of
California (Member, Legal Services Section), the American Bar
Association, the Bar Association of San Francisco and California Women
Lawyers Association. Ms. Levin is the co-chair of the Litigation
Subcommittee of the Probate Section of the Bar Association of San
Francisco.
Nancy lives in Berkeley, California
with her husband and son.
