EMILIE M. CALHOUN
Associate
Ms. Calhoun's practice focuses on trust
and estate litigation. She began her career as a general business
litigator, and then spent a handful of years preparing wills, trusts and
durable powers of attorney for estate planning clients. Ms. Calhoun also
represented trustees of revocable and irrevocable trusts, and worked on
cases involving contested conservatorships. Her clients include
individual trustees, executors and beneficiaries, and institutional
fiduciaries.
Ms. Calhoun received her Bachelor of Arts
degree at Sarah Lawrence College
in
Bronxville, New York. She obtained her Juris Doctorate
degree from University of Calif-
ornia at Davis
in 1986.
Ms. Calhoun is a member of the State Bar
of California and is currently admitted to practice in all Superior
Courts and in all District Courts in California. She is a member of the
Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Sections of the State Bar of
California, the Litigation and the Real Property, Trust and Estate
sections of the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of San
Francisco and the Alameda County Bar Association.
A native of San Francisco, Emilie may be found
hiking trails in West Marin or the Sierras with her family when not at
work.
